Activity desk - Safaris and Victoria Falls and other destinations:

Ask our friendly team at reception for all your safari bookings (boat cruises and game drives), Victoria Falls excursions (day trips, helicopter flights, scenic flights) and other travel and transfers. We work with reliable, friendly and skilful operators who will ensure you experience the best highlights of the region in safety and comfort.

in a peaceful, tranquil garden setting under the thatched roof, open from 6am to 8pm Rudy’s restaurant is fully licensed and the premiere a la carte venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the area. The beef and vegetarian lasagne are famous in the district and be sure to try the famous Rudy burger, born in Maun in 1997, which is where it all started! Even if you’re not hungry, visit Rudy’s to enjoy a real coffee, milkshake or cocktail in comfort. Best vegan and vegetarian meals in town!

Overlooking the main swimming pool, the sports bar is the place to unwind after a long day viewing animals or visiting Vic Falls. Here you can enjoy local and South African beers, a variety of South African wine, soft drinks, and cocktails served up by our friendly bartenders. Sports fans can enjoy their drinks while watching rugby, football and other sports on the TV.
Just next to the Sports Bar is the Pizza Den. Here the expert chefs whip up a variety of fresh handmade wood fired pizzas to order, as well as wood fired beef and vegetarian lasagnes. Guests can choose to sit at The Pizza Den overlooking the pool or order from the Pizza Den menu while enjoying a drink at Rudy’s restaurant or the Sports Bar.

Sunbirds Hotel’s head masseuse was trained at Wat Po temple in Bangkok, Thailand, and has trained the local team to deliver relaxing Thai massages for couples and individuals to help guests unwind after a day viewing animals or visiting Victoria Falls. Ladies are recommended to book in for the full spa experience which includes a massage, manicure and pedicure. All spa bookings include a cup of herbal tea in a tranquil, private garden setting.

Sunbirds Hotel has two swimming pools on the property, which are open from 6am to 6pm. There are no lifeguards on duty so pools are for use by competent swimmers only and all children under 16 must be supervised by parents at all times.
Sunbirds Hotel provides guests with a laundry service. Laundry bags are provided in rooms for this purpose. Laundry will be washed and ironed and returned the following day.

Secure car parking at the hotel is complimentary for guests. Parking can be arranged at a daily rate for guests needing to park before or after staying at the hotel.

Airport pickup and drop-off available for all guests. Kasane international airport 10km away and Victoria Falls Airport and hour and half away.

Wifi is available for all guests free of charge, in rooms and in common areas.

Sunbirds Hotel is in a secure compound with security guards, and located approximately 2kms from the Kazungula police station. Guests are advised to leave valuables in the hotel safe.

 the hotel is close to local shops and clinics however the walled compound is surrounded by wildlife, especially elephants, so it can be unsafe to exit the hotel grounds on foot or bicycle. Our friendly staff can help with local transportation including booking a local taxi for guest local transportation needs.
